Proposal Process

When you are ready to go to the project proposal stage, we will comfortably guide you through the process with a focus on customizing the most appropriate solutions for your pavement surfaces. In sequence, here's what we’ll do:

Our Customer Service staff will have an estimator contact you immediately.
We’ll set up an appointment to meet with you or simply go straight to your project site.
Once there, we’ll perform a thorough evaluation of your asphalt. Noting things like: previous repairs and maintenance history, traffic patterns, over-irrigation and water run-off systems, pavement stress do to heavy trucks and a number of other visual inspections.
We’ll ask you questions regarding our observed evaluations and get your and on-sight management’s input as to pavement use and requirements, providing a solid base of background information to formulate a thorough pavement analysis.
A detailed proposal will be provided identifying each repair or maintenance procedure that we recommend, along with pricing for each action item.
We’ll include specifications, product literature and a detailed sheet outlining how American Asphalt will uniquely approach your job to ensure that you get the best Product and best procedure for your money.
In some cases, we will also include a site map, color-coded to represent each of the repair and locations for easy identification of the work to be accomplished.
At this time it is your opportunity to go over the entire project with the estimator to make sure all your questions and concerns have been answered, and that the project plan meets your operating needs.
With proposal approval, the project can now be scheduled.
